At Focus we are committed to utilizing any and all available services in order to provide a better life to our consumers with disabilities and their families.  Focus,Inc. is a non-profit agency made up of several different state grants, a federal grant and generous private donations.  Focus was incorporated in 1978.  We have a Board of Directors which is made up of both parents of children with disabilities and professionals in the field of disabilities. Our board members live in Craighead, Greene, and Mississippi counties of Arkansas.  We have sights in all three counties mentioned.  We have a staff of about 55 employees which consist of professionals, paraprofessionals and volunteers.

Focus was originally started in 1978.  It was then called F.O.C.U.S. which stood for Focus On Children Under Six. Then Focus served only about 14 children. Today the Focus children programs serves 155 children on a daily basis. In 1995 we started 2 Adult Development Programs [ages 18+]which serves about 40 adults with disabilities on a daily basis.  The adult programs have a staff of 10 employees.

Focus also provides Case Management and Integrated Support for medicaid waiver consumers.

Focus has the Arkansas Parent Training & Information Co-Director and Parent Trainer as part of our staff.

All services are provided free to consumers.
